Please accept my most sincere condolences in the tragic and sudden death of your handsome son, Patrick. I read your words and feel the most intense impathy and pain for you. I know the pain of burying a son. Andrew was 18 when he died on July 16th, 2005. He had been ejected from his car in a devastating auto accident on July 12th. To me, it was also sudden because he never woke up, I'll never know if he heard my voice or the voices of his Father, sisters and hundreds of friends who visited him in the ICU. It is an unbelievable pain and I just cannot imagine how you must feel in knowing that TWICE, medical attention was sought yet both times, Patrick was misdiagnosed. It is simply hard to grasp that two Physicians would have missed something so severe...and Fatal. I send you my prayers, Mother hugs and an open ear if you ever need to talk.
