Special Child The world no longer listens... to the sorrow in my soul As if I should be better Should live with some control It's not a simple sorrow... when you've lost your special child There is no simple answer... No living in denial After months have passed on by... The world thinks I am fine As if I should be over it... That I should be resigned Inside I am still grieving Alone I still do cry Since they think I'm over it... On me I do rely I make it through each day... but as night begins to fall My heart reminds me often... I'm not over it at all So as I sit in silence It's you I'm thinking of While the world thinks I'm much better... I am missing our sweet love
